I'm interested in cricket and I support and follow Sussex but in truth rarely watch them play. But this! Why should I be in the slightest interested? Which team would I support? And why? I don't even know which is the nearest team to Sussex.
A big turn off for me.
Personally I have no problem with anyone wearing any national dress they want wherever they want to and I fail to understand what the fuss is about. If someone wishes to wear a Sussex shepherd's smock (my ancestors were shepherds) then good luck to them. If a Pakistani wants to wear a bowler hat...
It's apparently called "cultural appropriation" by lefties and seriously frowned upon!! So how come it's OK for William? One rule for the royal family; one rule for the rest of us?
So how come it's OK for Prince William to wander around Pakistan dressed as a Pakistani, but Justin Trudeau gets into all sorts of trouble for dressing up as an Arab?
Tony Nicholas, centre forward in the 60s. Typical of many Brighton players of that era, he gave 100%, but wasn't a prolific goal scorer.
Charlie Baker, Turners Hill native (and I believe still lives there) made over 80 appearances in goal in the early 60s. Wore a flat cap to keep the sun out of...
And a bike ride from Tyes Cross to Horsted Keynes Station, train to Haywards Heath, change to a Hove train and walk to the Goldstone Ground. Or if my Dad came to the game he would park by Hove Park and we walked across the park to the ground. Wonderful days.
Why do we want him playing for England? Chance of injury. Less rested after international breaks. More likely to be snapped up by a top six club. There's not one good reason I can come up with.
Very much this. It's a sports stadium, not a bloody restaurant. No one needs food during a two hour period at a game, but if you absolutely MUST eat, then bring your own.
