The article reads like a stream of consciousness. It's all over the place. Just because Poyet says something you are not required to report verbatim.
The game plan will not change if the Seagulls play Leeds or even – hypothetically – Real Madrid. Why not just say - whoever the opposition may...
Why do think they would aim so low? We came up last year, would you be happy with anything above 4th bottom this season? We will also be 'realistically' aiming for top 2 along with about 6-8 other clubs.
I agree. I was in WSL and during the first half I thought the atmosphere went as flat as the match in periods during the first half. It picked up a hell of a lot in the in the second but it certainly wasn't the best I have experienced, but I can only comment on where I was sitting.
As stated...
The Q&A forum is football related. Your questions are clearly not. If you have a beef about the headlines then write to the Editor instead of talking to a sports journalist.
I think there has been a massive overreaction by some people on here. I don't mind admitting that the first thing I did when I heard about the arrests was try to find out who they were.
I don't agree with how The Argus displayed it on the front page yesterday but they are out there to sell...
Perhaps you need to change the paper you read then? Admittedly there is shocking journalism out there as is being highlighted in the Leverson enquiry but there is also some fantastic investigative journalism being carried out too.
Yes I agree and I should have expanded my last comment. This whole conversation is about racism or perceived racism in the UK. I didn't think it was relevant to draw from other conflicts around the world as a way of lessening a discussion point.
Agreed all those atrocities are horrific. Africa is a Continent with many unstable governments and warring factions. The fact it is Black on Black killings is no more relevant to the White on White killings in Bosnia or Arab on Arab killings in Iraq/Kurdistan. We are talking about racism, that...
What I'm saying is that if she makes such sweeping generalizations then it can easily be construed as a racist comment. Why she has brought race in to it at all is down to the twitter comments she was responding to I guess.
The problem with Pardew back then was that he said the best team didn't win the league when in fact that was our strength as we had played fantastically well as a team then and in a way far over performed. Reading had much better individual players and the same goes for last year with us and SCC.
I'm know we have had a few bad decisions against us but equally we have got away with a few. I also don't hold with the view that referees are out to get us or that we are a dirty team.
We play risky football at times, as Gus has admitted to and I think sometimes we are caught out and...
Running around like a headless chicken.... so much so that he made our goal against Nottingham Forest out of nothing. What a ridiculous statement to say that he is not playing football.
