If i know nothing why are they not scoring. we know smudger is not getting goals because he is not playing football, he is running around like a headless chicken

Because he gets f*** all service. We've insisted on playing him alongside either a fridge on legs, or on his own with next to no support from midfield bar a half committed Harley. Barnes is played out of position every week, and Hoskins is never fit, as are Buckley and Vicente, the 3 players Gus bought in to give him the service and through balls he needs.
It'll all come good when they get into the team, which in Vicente's case seems like never.

I'm not totally convinced by CMS either. He didn't get many goals for Peterborough at this level. I like him but there's something missing for me atm. It's probably because the rest of the team aren't on his wavelength but he hasn't set the world alight imo.

Winning us throw-ins in attacking areas whereas with most strikers they'd just sit back and let the opposing defenders pump a ball forward. He does so much selfless work for the team!
