I wonder how much dosh the club make out of it.
Great to have another international tournament at the Amex. I see the Women's Euro branding is already up on the outside of the place.
The smell of liniment, cut grass and fag smoke when arriving for a night game in the North Stand.
My first game, Nelson scoring, Keeley saving and Rougvie battering Sunderland in a 3-1 win.
Bryan Wade in tears after his four goals against Newcastle.
Deano's free kick vs Ipswich and the Lions...
Took Oscar Jnr to see the re-release of First Blood at the Odorous, West Street, last night.
He'd never seen it and it had been years since I watched it, having never done so on the big screen. We both bloody loved it. Holds up very well and deals with some very serious themes in between the...
Finally got to see Top Gun Maverick last night... and in IMAX. Loved it. Absolutely incredible cinematography with a big ol' slice of cheese. 9/10
Also saw Everything Everywhere All At Once recenlty. My son had been raving about it and demanded I see it. Perhaps my expectations were too high...
Hard for people to judge players they weren't around to see. Lawrenson is clearly a favourite but I have no experience of having seen him play for the Albion, nor his peers in that era.
Vicente was different class. Possibly the most gifted player I have ever seen play for us but I don't think...
Given the special day, I thought it would be fun to remember our old home with whatever is still out there of the old place.
My patch of turf is long gone but in my shed I still have:
A sign salvaged from the away end...
A piece of the North Stand goal net...
Not salvage but still...
I'm no fan of the Argus and it's recent dip in standards but from what I have seen, the coverage of this is nothing more than a fair and contemporaneous report of court proceedings. Disturbing but fair.
Tomorrow will be a good test of his skills as a manager. He's had a good break on the training ground with at least half the squad to work on issues. Yesterday, he said it had been the best international break he had experienced in terms of working on tactics etc. He also suggested specific work...
I think he's a very good manager doing the best he can with the resources at his disposal.
During all the media hype about being the next Man Utd or Spurs manager, he called it in terms of the fine margins in the Premier League. He said how it wasn't so long ago that people were questioning him...
Game of Thrones - gave up midway through the first season. No particular reason, just couldn't be bothered with it.
The Walking Dead - gave up after Season 6 but recenlty returned to it. Picked it up in Season 9 and am sticking with it despite the fact its very low quality in many episodes.

I managed to haggle to a fairly decent deal with Virgin and got BT Sport thrown in. I would dearly love to ditch the TV aspect of Virgin's service but we have awful signal where we are for freeview and I'm not savvy enough*to work out how to get basic TV for free online, other than through apps.
Last chance to get some kind of return from the 365 freebies. No winners so far but no loss either of course. Thanks for the daily tips Billy Seagull . Hopefully I'll pick the right one today.
I must also admit to having a bit of a 'thing' for goal nets and used to be able to ID quite a few grounds from a shapely stanchion or the drape of a net.
I'm a proud owner if a lovely stripey piece of our old Goldstone goals and used to rather like the old Wembley posts too. My favourite for...
