Like you, I never quite got around to watching the new Battlestar Galactica. Then, seeing it pop up in its entirety on BBC iPlayer, I thought it would make ideal lockdown escapism. Weirdly, it reflects a lot of what is happening in the world now but other than that, it's just brilliantly written...

If you like sci-fi and haven't seen it before, Battlestar Gallactica. It's the '90s/2000s remake. All four seasons are streaming. Possibly the best sci-fi series ever made IMO.
I also recommend Detectorists. Wonderful comedy.
There's a blue plaque for Peter Adolph in Tunbridge Wells on the spot where his factory used to be but not in Brighton. He spent part of his childhood in Brighton before moving to TW as a teenager I believe. He was also a QPR fan rather than one of the Albion faithful.
You know it's bad when you resent even the little effort it takes to watch these toothless displays on the telly. Imagine having to pay and actually watch tha in person!
Lockdown has moved me even more towards following the Albion from home via TV or the radio. I enjoy the weekly drama of our ups and downs in this ridiculous league while not having to endure the effort of attending games and, most of all, the expense. I feel more than a little guilty about...
