[Football] Lee Carsley - The National Anthem.

If there's one thing capable of equaling the predictable 'outrage' at Carsley not singing the national anthem it's the equally predictable alternate response of people falling over themselves to say how much of a shit they don't give about it and how much they don't care about supporting...

[Brighton] Is Brighton & Hove as a city getting better, or getting worse?

I love coming back to Brighton but maybe that's because I come back as a tourist. I love the fact that it has the downs to the north and the sea to the south. Where I grew up both were accessible in under 10 minutes walking. I think the north Laine and the lanes are great and there's loads of...

[Cricket] Love the Freddy Flintoff thing with the kids

Fantastic television, really enjoyable and uplifting.

[Albion] Have we, at some point in our seasons in the EFL/EPL, occupied every position between 1-92?

This looks promising. A quick tot up says that we've finished in 52 different positions in 97 seasons. Surely with 38-46 different match days per each of those 97 seasons we've been able to end a day in every one of the 92 positions.

[Albion] Have we, at some point in our seasons in the EFL/EPL, occupied every position between 1-92?

How do you judge occupied? Is it the table immediately after your game? Or after all the games for that match day are played? The former would give us more chance as we might have snuck into a position for an hour or two before dropping out again.

    [News] Nick Cave

He had to show a youngster the back of his red right hand to get a seat.

[Misc] Books you gave up on

Ha, I love the count of Monte Cristo! But then again the three musketeers might be my all time favourite book so I was primed for the count.

[Misc] Books you gave up on

Funnily enough I tried reading it as a student too. I think I'm very much in a minority with my opinion on it, I just found it interminably dull and arduous to read.

[Misc] Books you gave up on

Four times?! I genuinely struggled toreas four pages at a time! Each to their own though. I personally thought wolf hall was a really good read but I see you're not alone in not enjoying it.

Crime and punishment. Not sure what the crime was but the punishment was reading the book.

[Misc] The Most You've Paid For An Event

I paid 115quid to watch us beat man utd the other week. That seemed like an awful lot of money. 45 to become a myalbion member then 70 for the ticket.

[Albion] Jan Paul van Hecke - contracted to June 2027

This is pretty much my thinking too. I'd love him and hinshelwood to become the mainstays of the team. I think it's a really important role and fundamental to how we will continue our progress.

[Albion] Joao Pedro - How good is he?..

That's something you can keep reminding them of forever!

[Albion] Joao Pedro - How good is he?..

He's a fantastic player who's not hit his ceiling yet. I'm a big fan and have been since the first time I saw him play.

[Albion] You're the ref: Veltman v Rice

Shit red card, outstanding shithousery by veltman.

[Albion] Napoli interested in Billy Gilmour **Sold 30/08/24**

Is that a the club don't want him in an active way? I.e they're actively pushing the sale,or; He's surplus to the managers requirements so the club are happy to sell?

    [Music] Oasis - 2025

I kind of agree with you but i know if there is I'll buy it even if it'd clearly a load of old shit. I've spent the past decade or so convinced I wasn't bothered about a reunion and had solid reasons for it but as soon as they announced it I lost my shit with excitement.

[Albion] Would you welcome Bruno back ?

If there was the right role for him, absolutely. It doesn't have to be a coaching role. I may be wrong but I feel like he did a lot of work on the community side of things. A role incorporating that would be great.

    [Albion] Ferdi Kadioglu **Singed 27/08/24**

Thanks for this. I'd forgotten quite how funny online Leeds fans are.
