[Cricket] India v England- Fourth Test Match- Ahmedabad- 04-08.03.2021

Another humiliating defeat imminent but we have to accept they have been the much superior team in this series. Hopefully some redemption can be had later in the summer.

Commentators absolutely creaming themselves now the runs are flowing.

    [Football] 2030 World Cup

We've tried a few times previously and it's been made clear we're not wanted so why bother going through the motions again? A waste of time and effort.

[Albion] Burnley vs Brighton & Hove Albion *** Official Match Thread ***

A good point all told, but Burnley are such an unpleasant snidey little team it would have been nice to get one over them for a change.

[Cricket] England in India This Coming Month- It MAY Be Good News For Those Not With Sky/BT

It sounds like Sky are out of the running. Fingers crossed for C4.

Wow, the support acts need reversing with the main event!

    [Albion] Table of dominance

Ultimately pretty meaningless but it does show where we would be if we could convert possession to goals. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11661/12198261/liverpool-top-xg-premier-league-table-ahead-of-man-city-chelsea-and-leicester

[Cricket] Sri Lanka v England- 2nd Test Match- Galle 22-26.01.2020

It's perfectly poised, both sides will fancy their chances. Could be a cliff hanger!

[Cricket] Sri Lanka v England- 2nd Test Match- Galle 22-26.01.2020

A dubious decision, especially given the soft signal. It looked to have grounded from the side view. DRS guy doesn't fill me with confidence.

    [Albion] Premier League 16-23/01

What's that got to do with it? I'm sure the Burnley fans were perfectly happy when one of their players feigned a head injury against us to win the points too! Clearly a tactic.

    [Albion] Premier League 16-23/01

Burnley players down with cramp in injury time. One of their less endearing traits.

[Cricket] Sri Lanka v England- 2nd Test Match- Galle 22-26.01.2020

Basically the same thing. Johnny doesn't need a rest. The Indians will have Dom Sibley on toast.

[Cricket] Sri Lanka v England- 2nd Test Match- Galle 22-26.01.2020

And Johnny Bairstow dropped for the first two India test matches? I don't see the logic there, one of our better players against spin.

    [Albion] Injury time inconsistencies

I've noticed refs like to let an attack complete before blowing the whistle, even if it is after the allotted injury time. This is what happened in the Liverpool game last night. As soon as the attack broke down and United began moving the ball out, he blew his whistle. Same if you get a corner...

[Albion] Lewis Dunk at the final whistle

I noticed that on Saturday. Very satisfying, and pleasing to see what it means to the players.

[Albion] Lamptey close to signing new deal EDIT: New deal (to 2025) confirmed 17/01

Pep Guardiola needs to do the same. He ranks Graham Potter as the best English Manager and would have loved to have played in our team. Clueless idiot!

I think I'll treat myself to a lie in tomorrow. We'll pick those runs off, surely?

Sri Lanka creeping back into this. A 100+ lead would make things interesting.

    [Albion] Trossard

Just to buck the trend, I thought he was excellent and well worthy of a starting place. Just a shame he couldn't quite curl his foot around that shot.
