I don't think there is anyone NOT confused, is there? When cars unlap under a safety car do ALL cars need to unlap or is it race directors discretion? As far as I can make out it is the latter, in which case Michael Massey has effectively determined the result.

All the players appeared in anti-discrimination t-shirts on the first day of the test. The ECB have no choice but to ban him or it looks like they are not taking their own campaign seriously.
I don't think they would have been criticised at all. They could have shown intent by opening with Pope and Crawley and using Sibley if they needed to shut up shop.

This is a pretty meaningless two test series, not an Ashes decider. There is no dishonour chasing a reachable target and failing, just give it a go!
