    [Music] Twitter Listening Parties

Anyone else enjoying them? Tim_Burgess and @ShiiineOn_ have been running some but they are springing up all over the place. Basically everyone starts playing the nominated album at the scheduled time then follows along with the comments on twitter, often with input from the artists...

    [Music] Duran Duran

I love the Rio album, some of John Taylor's bass work is quite mesmerising. The final track on the album, The Chauffeur, is the best song they ever did in my opinion. A haunting and unique sound.

[News] A MASSIVE band is reforming....

The NSC demographic for music fans is very much focused on first incarnation Genesis, as this thread has proved. The average Joe on the street is going to be more hungry for stadium rock Genesis. I am sure there are plenty of other bands that fit the same remit - Simple Minds for one.

[Albion] West Ham: one point gained or two points dropped?

A nice feeling not to be the ones conceding a lead for a change. Point gained.

[Cricket] 3rd Test South Africa v England

It's a fine line between grinding the bowlers down and being bogged down by them. Three an over wouldn't be pushing the boat out too much! Root moving the rate upwards now, anyway.

[Cricket] 3rd Test South Africa v England

I wonder what the lowest not out day one total is? Run rate is abysmal.

[Cricket] New Zealand v England 2nd Test

Even without Boult and CDG I feel New Zealand will be too strong for England in this test. 2-0.

[Football] Should England players walk off if racist chants kick off in these next two matches?

You would think the points would have to go to the team that didn't fail to fulfil the fixture. The points have to go somewhere or the integrity of the competition falls apart.

[Football] Should England players walk off if racist chants kick off in these next two matches?

I suspect any racist twats will take great pleasure in getting the game abandoned after 5 minutes, at the expense of all those England supporters who have travelled long distances at great cost. And if the game is awarded to the home team, even better!

[Albion] Newcastle: one point gained or two points dropped?

Two dropped, but technically, the answer is BOTH.
