[Travel] Day out in London with 6 and 2 year old

Honestly? Double decker bus, at the front, with snacks. Boat ride on the Thames. Covent Garden for street entertainment. Museums are crazy busy and too much when they are that little IMO

[Albion] Brighton fans meltdown: arrived (Was incoming)

We were f***ing brilliant last season; for spells almost unplayable. We just haven't hit the same levels.

[Albion] Ansu Fati **Signed On Loan 01/09**

I'm going to buck the trend and say that I thought that was his best performance for us last night. It didn't feel like the team were carrying him as has been the case previously or that he was getting in the way and disrupting the flow of our attacks. Tactically, positionally he was better...

    [Albion] What if we've peaked?

We haven't peaked. Consider Liverpool last season. Outside the top 4, only just ahead of us when we had a fit squad. We have so many young talents.

[Finance] The cryptocurrency (Bitcoin etc) thread

I've never lost on crypto from my original stake but have had things in my portfolio that I've lost on and in some cases to quite a large degree % wise. Diversification is important to mitigate risk but it's a punt, whichever way you look at it.

[Albion] Most improved player so far this season?

Ferguson is young, is a finisher but he isn't getting too many opportunities to score. Obviously RDZ wants more from him but for the most part it's a team problem recently in terms of chance creation, not a player one.

[Albion] Ansu Fati **Signed On Loan 01/09**

If you ignore the Barcelona history and trust your eyes, he is a promising young talent who has flashes of potential. I think the frustration is that he appears languid, lacking the explosiveness and burst power of some of our other forwards. It feels like he isn't playing in the Premier...

    [Albion] Best ever.

Was thinking we've had best ever threads before but we haven't had it skills based e.g. Penalty taker Finisher 1 on 1 defender Free kick taker - curl Free kick taker - power 1 on 1 attacker Dribbler Long range passer In the air Long range shooter Ball control Positioning Etc. Obviously a lot...

[Politics] Sir Keir Starmer’s route to Number 10

I'm with you. APT does this over time but it's a long game. I've considered this a lot. Wealth does get taxed as part of any transaction as it moves around e.g. interest, capital gains, inheritance etc. But the whole point of APT is that it is a neutral and not punitive tax to individuals. It...

[Politics] Sir Keir Starmer’s route to Number 10

UBI is why a broader tax scope is required. If you tax the entire economy, you're taxing financial institutions and speculators more heavily as they move vast sums around. What you also will see is more long term ism in the markets and lower volatility, both of which are fundamentally good...

[Politics] Sir Keir Starmer’s route to Number 10

I'm a big fan of universal basic income for one simple reason. The choice to work. Basic income is just that. Just enough to provide basics but enough to empower individuals. Boss a dick? Leave. Job not rewarding? Leave. Not paid enough for the work? Employers will have to pay more...
