Indeed, that's what i tried over and over again. No problem in actually getting them back on (as you say they just click into place) but they end up falling back off again after a few minutes. I know, it sounds as though I am retarded, but after 5 years they are well and truly knackered!

Thanks for the recomendation, just looked on ebay and theyre floating around for about £12. Is it as simple as chipping all the keys off or is there screwdriver work to be done? I'm looking around my keyboard and it seems strangely difficult!?

I, O, P, S, D have come off, yes. I kept trying to put them back on but they'd come off after a few taps. I have 2, I think, but the others have gone missing. They MUST be around the house though. If i couldn't find them, would they be a cheap job at the repairs?

Hello good people of NSC, My computer needs a bit of repair, over time 5 keys have come off the keyboard on my Dell Inspiron 6400 Laptop. Could anyone advise me as to how much this would cost to repair? Surely an easy job so not too much? Thank you!
