There are also a number of instances of men being killed by urinating on to live electric rails. Just don’t do it.

[Albion] Terrible support, terrible facilities, terrible day.

The OP seems to have forgotten what an FA Cup Semi is all about, just maybe because he is a bit of a JCL. My childhood years were at the Goldstone 4th Division football, My sons from League 1, My grandsons from the Championship. Now we’re in the Premier League top half, FA Cup Semi and it’s sad...

[Football] Anyone else enjoy the experience yesterday?

Great day (we all enjoyed it), great atmosphere (from where we were), great support (hardly heard MU). Sad result (totally gutted for Solly). Jubilee line to Waterloo deadful.

Had no problems since. He did explain why the root cause could affect other circuits and trip the RCD, but lost...

    [Help] Homeserve - any good?

We had a problem with the RCD tripping out. One time it was the ground floor light circuit, then the boiler switch, then the ground floor sockets. Homeserve were clueless. They ordered a new PCB for the boiler, so no heating for a week. Came to fit it and the RCD wasn’t tripped when turning the...

[Politics] Tory meltdown finally arrived [was: incoming]...

I agree, I worked for some companies in the 80’s & 90’s where managing by fear was the norm. One MD actually used to grab people by the throat to get his point across, another had senior management trembling in fear if he was visiting the office.
