Sorry mate, you too just dont get it.

Stopping shooting doesnt equal peace, it would be bullshit but not any type of lasting deal......... it never has with Putin, who wont use the stopping of shooting to live in peace. He will rearm, re-equip, replan having learned lessons and he will go again.

The only thing that can stop him is overwhelming force in response, if he dares try. Without that, there is no lasting and durable peace, something Zelensky, Starmer, Macron all get, and which Trump and simplistic takes fail to grasp.

Of course stopping the killing is good and I dont think territorial concessions is the main issue, realpolitik will dictate the borders, however temporary, agreed or not.... but you cant rebuild the devastation of Russias violence, you cant live in peace of have any normaility after such terrible violence and you cant change the mentality of a Russian imperialist fascist with a bit of paper or Trumps "trust me bro".

It can only come from iron clad security guarantees and overwelming force to prevent Russia WHEN they try again.

I'm not pro trump or zelensky. And this is my view I don't care whether it's popular on here.

If he does go again after a 'deal' is reached. Then it should be full on war.

Why wouldn’t you be pro Zelenskyy? He’s the leader of an invaded country fighting for their existence with the blood of his people across the land they’ve lost.

Trump’s playing this like Putin and Zelenskyy are equals, that it is an equal fight with no aggressor that just needs to be settled. No wonder they’re celebrating in Moscow.

Btw I’m neither pro Trump or pro Putin!

But there were no security guarantees in the deal, for a start, and Zelensky spelt it it out pretty clearly: Putin does not adhere to any peace deals. He does not give a shit about peace deals. And, just perhaps, he doesn't want his country to be raped by American imperialists, who are trying to conduct the most flagrant fleecing of another country's resources the world has ever seen

And as for not being pro Zelensky... says it all about you really

This is moronic.

Zelensky is the president of a country fighting a war inside it's own borders. He represents 40m people. You appear to be suggesting it is more important that he appeases Trump and his absurd position that Ukraine concede all lost territory because the US have had enough of it all now instead of putting forward the position of 40,000,000 Ukrainians that their land is their land, and if you tolerate this, then your children will be next.

I'm not sure they're generally celebrating in Moscow. The people probably want this over with.

I'm pro Ukraine. Not really a fan of zelensky.
