One thing is certain the next two home games won't be as entertaining as tonight. In stark contrast we will be up against the usual defensive killjoys who will be time wasting, and most of their players will either suffer career ending or head injuries to stop the game for as long as possible.
I don't actually know the fixture list - but I'm guessing Villa & Fulham?

It’s a shame some of their fans aren’t as respectful as their Manager. Some really entitled comments coming out from them on the BBC page

Managed momentum well in both games. Tonight we seemed to make the right calls when to put the pressure on and when to sit and absorb pressure. Very good game but think even a neutral would say we edged it.
Interestingly Fab thought that maybe we were lucky to win…..gawd knows how many corners they had in the last ten…but I couldn’t bare to watch….still great entertainment…and another disciplined performance..we have a bit of momentum

Or not. F**k ‘em. The Plucky Russian Billionaires.

They are Jordan’s tits.

They’re a two for one on Malibu in a club that only plays Heart’s playlist.

They’re the smug kid with the horrific hidden background.

They’re a holiday to Dubai on tick.

I thought they were truly outstanding and we had to be brilliant to win - brilliant in an absorbing first half in our attacking play and a brilliant rear guard action in defense. If we had lost it still would have been a superb performance and for me Bournemouth were the better of two very good teams. Had that been Liverpool Man City both teams and the league would have been lauded.

I like the phrase 'disrupter teams' and both clubs are truly that, a new wave of clubs that are run intelligently to ensure competing with traditionally bigger clubs who aren't run as intelligently. You can add Brentford and Fulham to that list... and maybe... Palace as well. Comparatively little sense of entitlement compared to the likes of traditionally bigger clubs such as West Ham, Leeds, Everton, Tottenham - clubs who have not been run as intelligently and have spunked millions chasing instant success without intelligent planning.

I guess Forest could be added to the disrupter club list based on the way they have developed in the last year?

Not sure where Aston Villa and Newcastle stand in this. Bigger clubs but also experiencing success based on intelligent planning.

Man United have become a joke and irrelevant and I expect that to stay the same for several years

Arsenal are a big club weighed down by huge expectations and a grade 1 twat of a manager that makes them impossible to like.

Man City - has the bubble burst? I reckon it may well have done.

So can one or more of us disrupter clubs make the Champions League? Perhaps not us yet but on today's evidence Bournemouth can and deserve to do so.

Did I forget anyone? Oh yes of course - the most entitled fan set of them all - Chelsea. How anyone could support this awful club with pride is beyond me. It was summed up with their fans singing, "we want our Chelsea back" What exactly is "our Chelsea" as they have a comparatively mediocre history. Ah yes, what they mean is they want Abramovich's money back. Well if that is what "your Chelsea" is measured by you are getting exactly what you deserve. Look at the brilliance and togetherness of the Bournemouth team and compare it to the multi million shambles that represent Chelsea. Bournemouth buy well and improve players of relatively low reputation. Chelsea collect and ruin players with over inflated reputations and price tags.

Well done Bournemouth and thank you for the 6 points - your team were a joy to watch and if you keep up that standard of performance you should easily make the top 4.

Incredible game of football, up there with that City game a few seasons back.

I have a new found respect for Bmuff after that game. Both teams slugging it out. No cheating or time wasting i thought when they got the equilser momentum was going to change in their favour but the changes came just in time for us to go and nick a second.

It would be great if both teams could make it to europe. But as we struggled last time out i expect bmuff will have the same issues once the big boys come knocking. Some excellent players throughout the whole team.

Fantastic game id happily watch a trilogy between the two as both games this season have been excellent.

That's my problem then. It's the sort of club I would go to.

Trouble is it’s full of drunks.
I spent a lot of time there in the late 90s, early 2000s. It was a nice place. More attractive than Brighton. Like most seaside towns it had its problems. Often centred around Boscombe. I suppose a comparison would be Eastbourne. Outside the main town there are some delightful places to live and with the New Forest on the door step it's a good place for families.

It's no more full of 'drunks' than Brighton. It's a place I would have been more than happy to live had circumstances suggested it an option to consider (I did at one stage). Which reminds me, I must give my old friend in Ferndown a call.

We had a weekend break down there a year or so ago and was surprised at the amount of drunks hassling people for money. Maybe it was a wrong weekend although that was our experience. We thought Christ this is grim and avoided the beach front area.

I think that's the lot of many a seaside town centre these days though. I suspect few are immune. I remember paying a visit to my beloved Torbay a while ago and realising I probably would never return. Sad really.
