Is father Christmas real mummy....
I never said Father Christmas to my kids. It was always Santa Claus, and then when they got old enough, I explained it came from Saint Nicolas, a Turkish bishop who was good to the poor.

All well and good. I was agreeing with you with a common example of a lie a parent may make. 👍🏻

where does this idea come from? essentially saying the constitution is no longer valid and SC has taken over powers from Congress. i rather think Congress has a different view on that.
Sc can interpret the constitution through law however they like. If Trump decides to run again and it goes to SC they simply say the wording of the constitution is unclear and allow him to run.

The American public are asleep, so they'll get what they deserve.
Sadly, it'll impact all of us in a big way.
I'm not sure they are asleep. His supporters are either getting their news solely from pro-Trump sources or living in an evangelical apocalyptic virtual reality where chaos is welcomed. Those who can see what is happening are like rabbits caught in the headlights, paralysed and scared.
If anyone does stick their head above the parapet they know that Musk can unleash his X army against them and they will face real danger. At the moment I can't see how resistance can effectively be mobilised.

as long as the persistent, but poorly evidenced theory that THIS election was rigged, and Harris won, isn't true.

Really? Hadn't heard that one.
I read an interesting article that I can't find now all about how the Trump vote jumped in normally Democratic states, even though the lesser votes (house/senate I think) stayed similar to before, and often still voted Democrat. And that the increase in Trump votes was pretty uniform percentage wise across these states. The inference being that there was some trickery going in in normally Democratic votes to enhance the Trump vote by a set percentage somehow. Which was enough to get him the swing states - whilst making it look 'normal' as the change in the swing states was 'similar' to the change in non-swing states.

But in safe republican states - the same swing/change didn't happen.

Sounded a bit far-fetched, but you never know!

If he is somehow still alive and able to mumble a few banalities in 4 years time, he will look pretty much like Doctor Who's nemesis, Davros by then.
"Oh no he won't."
