Merry new year chaps! Another year down watching the Albion. With that thought in mind a few Albion memories just collided in my brain... the early years watching at the Goldstone/Gillingham/Withdean & then competing in the Europa league. Blimey! What a journey! (As has been said many times over, but still...).

THE greatest night of the year.

:O

Where are you going to party and celebrate??

We're going to the Pilot Boat for a slap up meal around 7 and then will see in New Years at the Ship where Dave has kindly reduced his prices for regulars to a tenner and the atmosphere should be electric as we let Toby Anstis see in the New Year with us.

Should be an absolute hoot.

:rock::banana::cheers:

Have a splendid evening, always something special about the last day of the year - a time to reflect on what’s been and a time to look forward to what’s ahead - happy new year to you and all on NSC 🥂

NYE, a time for reflection - was it worth it? Is it worth it?

Failed miserably with my powernap and might have to resort to hard drugs (it is what it is, like Potter says) if all the plans of the night are to go through... especially the rave I'm supposed to be at 03... not awfully tempting.

First going to a party in two hours though and I have vodka, beer and hashish so I could se myself being quite dead by midnight, nevermind 03.

Tomorrow I will once again notice that I'm 35 and not 25.
That’s the spirit!

Then pub with mates mainly couples , kids arrived, staying in with families silly games etc. now the kids are older lunch with the other half, mini pub crawl and home early , then see in the new year with jools. Love New Year’s Eve, so many grumps on here.

Saw in the New Year with Sydney fireworks at 1pm as wife has Chronic Fatigue so can't stay up until midnight so its our new tradition :)

Now about to watch the London fireworks on TV with a glass of Prosecco in hand 🥂

Happy New Year everyone! Hope 2025 brings you everything that you want, and more (including a few wins again for the Albion please!)!
