I don't have you down as a New European subscriber, so let me help you our with some details here.

Firstly because the Brexit idiots either forgot about Northern Ireland or found it too hard to solve, you will need to be GPSR compliant if you don't sell to mainland Europe but do to the UK if your sales include Northern Ireland, which is part of the UK but also a de facto single market member.

Secondly GPSR's impact, according to William Bain of the British Chambers of Commerce, "will be felt most strongly by small and medium size enterprises and traders". Yes, traders. So, if you want to eBay sell something you'd better hope that you don't have your highest bid from Belfast. It's interesting (actually, it's bleedin' obvious) that the right wing press have been pushing the impact of the budget on SMEs but have strangely avoided this particular topic.

And, as usual, it's Brexiteers moaning the most about it.
The DUP have to have the biggest twats of all

Talking of migration, the hypocrisy is writ large with Farage.

For me, this takes Farage's hypocrisy to a whole new level.

I've checked out Nomad Capitalist's YouTube Channel. Farage features on a number of their videos, alongside others entitled "End of the UK", "Get Out Now - Billionaires are fleeing the UK", "The UK is Dying".

People talk about reaching the tipping point with climate change. I wonder whether we are approaching the tipping point with wealth distribution.

Why do so many proud patriots so thoroughly hate the country they proclaim to love?

The 'oven ready deal' the public fell for in 2019, is, in reality, a terrible deal costing billions.

To cover the cost of the UK’s divorce from Europe, the government has accounted for £10.6bn in future payments for Brussels staff and diplomats’ pensions, as well as Britain’s pre-existing financial obligations.

Official government figures this week revealed that the provision for continuing “EU liabilities” has fallen from £31.7bn a year ago and £38.7bn the year before.

But the figure still stands at more than £10bn, with critics saying the UK is still “paying vast sums for a terrible Brexit deal”.

To Europe.

To the staff and diplomats. Incredible pension arrangements.

The EU itself has suffered from the partial loss of a big marketplace 20 miles away. Whilst Goldman Sachs calculate that our own economy is 5% smaller as a result.

I'snt the EU falling apart with France and Germany turning into basket cases? Falling even farther behind the US with over regulation and growing social unrest?

Yes lets rejoin the basket case club rather than developing some sane economic policies.

I didn't know that.

I knew that Brexit has made us all poorer, but our economy 5% smaller due to Brexit? That's obscene.

And there are still people defending it? Indefensible.

I think the main point there is that most of the press is right wing and BREXIT supporting. Thus such details are rarely reported on any wide basis.

I am always surprised this thread isn't full of anger from the duped about the lies they were told.

The brazen and bold Brexiteers just seem to have swapped their tubthumping for silence.

The most sane policy to get our economic growth going would be to lift the self imposed trade sanctions on ourselves

I was angry but it saps energy so I stick to reminding Leavers of the mess made and lies told.
I keep reading about the EU falling apart but also see countries desperate to join, like Georgia.
