I think he will develop into a tremendous player, considering he is aged 19.

I actually enjoy seeing our players, or former players, doing well for other teams especially when we played a large part in their journey. I am sure they mostly have fond memories of their time with us and appreciate the chance we gave them. Maybe it’s just me.

He is clearly good enough to be part of the squad, but not necessarily a regular every week (due to age, experience and ability). But now he is getting on the pitch every week - and doing very well - increases the chances of him BECOMING a regular at the Albion next season.
I think he's awesome and looking forward to seeing him in the stripes in 25/26 already

I guess there is a scenario where it would be a good idea, in the event of serious injury to 2 or more of Georginio, Pedro and Enciso.
Barring that, I think we're looking to incorporate after making sales next summer. Or if a big bid comes in as a result of him having been in the shop window, we can consider that as well.

Yes, I also enjoy seeing them do well.
But what I really enjoy, is the knowledge, that when they leave the club they are loaned to, their departure will weaken that club, and that club will have to lay out a fortune to replace them, just to stand still.
Alongside that, we get the benefit of a developed player. There's a lot to be said for loaning players.
Really? You wanted, say, Oxford to crash and burn when we took Beadle off them to move to Massive? Should Northampton be relegated now they no longer have Marc Leonard, or should Rochdale have faced bankruptcy trying to replace Big Bob?
Not for me - I'm delighted when our loanees do well and the fans at their host clubs really appreciate them. Sima getting Player of the Month awards at Rangers was great, as it was when Leonard and Rushworth were made POTS. I think it's great that Leicester fans are wondering just how good our players are that we can afford to let Bunanotte go out on loan - even better that they're not the only group of fans to have expressed similar feelings this season (Blackpool fans wondering how good our defence must be if we didn't need Offiah).
I only wish ill on those teams that take our loanees but the loan turns out to be a rotten one for our player (I'm looking at you, Hull City!)

I probably should have been clearer.
Teams from lower leagues are not on my radar. Nor non-league football teams like Rangers. I was talking about PL rivals, or clubs that piss me off, like Leeds.

We are likely to sell someone next summer for a large fee. Facu being able to slip into the squad is vital to allow such a smooth transition.

Errmmm, yes but .................. how many have we loaned to PL rivals? Who? When?
Mat Ryan is the only example I can think of.
I’m not sure why anyone is seeing this as a negative. Leicester and us currently aren’t competing in the same place in the league.
One of our young talents is shining bright something he wouldn’t have had opportunity to do this season. Adding to his value and boosting any chance he has of becoming a key player for us.
Also if he is one of Leicesters star players and they heavily rely on him he can’t play against us so Leicester should be weaker when we play against them.
Multiple players in our current squad have been on loans which have benefitted them. JPVH loan to Blackburn which seems to be over looked all the time being prime example of a player who can go out on loan win player of the season then start meaningfully contributing to the first team.

I don't know (x3). I was just taking a punt at the general point being made, such might be wide of the mark anyway.
Arsenal were our rivals? I never knew we had aspirations so high above ourselves! Anyway, he only went there to cover, and we'd just replaced him with a far better GK, so no sacrifice. Helping a rival? No, we weren't - and TBH I was quite pleased for Maty that he did get to play a couple of matches fir his dream team!

Nice to see him doing so well. Georginio wouldn't have benefitted with quite as much game time had he stayed so a good loan for all parties so far.
Facu would be a good PSR sale if he does go for a big fee in the summer but would like to see him back and better with us next season.

The obvious example would be Ben White, who we loaned to Leeds, in the season they got promoted. Ben White got regular football, and substantially increased his market price. While Leeds weren't a PL side in the loan season, they became a PL team at the end of it. TB/PB decided they didn't want to sell Ben White to Leeds, who they considered a rival. So they didn't. The loan contract didn't have a loan-to-buy clause in it, so that was that. Ben White's departure weakened Leeds, who decided to spend £13m on the German Koch instead. Leeds subsequently struggled with managers, keeping players, and staying in the PL. We subsequently sold Ben White to Arsenal for £50 million.
