"I have come over to Athens for the European Clubs' Association General Assembly.

The ECA is increasingly powerful on the global football scene. Other than Real Madrid and Barcelona, who remain on the outside as a legacy of their continuing involvement in European Super League, all Europe's major clubs are represented amid a growing membership of more than 700.

Manchester United chief executive Jean-Claude Blanc is here, flying in after attending his club's significant board meeting in London on Tuesday.

I have also bumped into former England and Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson and seen Graham Potter, who appeared on both Sky and Match of the Day last week, and Edin Terzic, the highly-rated former Borussia Dortmund boss who stood down after reaching the Champions League final last season."

He was like a weird peado teacher last night. Was so forced with advertising himself.
Peado teacher? Is this someone who trains people to become peados? Or a teacher who is also a peado?

Did you have to google that 🤣
Yeah, I got it a place wrong from memory more than 20 years after the event. Not bad as I am an Albion fan not a Charlton one

I reckon you googled it too?

I do remember thinking that some of their fans were entitled wankers at the time though. I enjoyed their plummet down the leagues after they sacked him.

I couldn't believe it when they binned him off. Even more couldn't believe it when he left West Ham under a bit of a cloud on the eve of a season, having pulled off a minor miracle in keeping them up with Tevez scoring goal after goal.
