Absolutely brilliant blog by a Carlisle United supporter which sums up most peoples feelings exactly, (especially about the twat with the bell!!!).

TTU Season Preview 2012-13: Pompeys Irresponsibility Continues Apace | The Two Unfortunates

What a great write-up that was, and shows how differently some clubs get treated. Carlisle had to cut their cloth accordingly, while Pompey seem to be allowed to just march on as the biggest spenders of whatever division they find themselves in.

With every new bit of information I like the club and everyone involved even less.

Pompey find a new way to pay off debts.

Meanwhile, away from the lunacy of deadline day to an ongoing lunacy down the coast:

The Pompey Paupers have found the perfect solution to ease their financial woes. They want all your old mobile phones for resale or recycle.

Raise funds for Portsmouth Football Club with forgottenmobile.com

Trevor Birch and Balram Chainrai will be setting up a pasting table at a Sunday Boot Sale near to you very soon. Dig out all those old bricks everyone. Do your bit......

forgotten mobile have a tag line of

Raising funding for worthwhile causes

How the f*** is Pompey more worthwhile than the RSPCA or ovarian cancer research or the other charities they are partners with?

So not only do Portsmouth rip off the St John and other local charities by going bust twice, they now are looking to steal money from charities that have had no dealing with them.

They need to do the honourable thing, stop blaming everyone else for their debts, face up to the fact they are bust and at least do a Rangers, but preferably a Halifax, Chester, Aldershot, Telford, Wimbledon, Maidstone, Newport and start from the very bottom again

Fans country wide should stand against the way the FA allows this to continue

Thought this saga couldn't get any more farcical? Think again. Although not directly linked to the ongoing drama at PFC, you could not make this up re Chainrai. Maybe Chainrai wanted the PFC parachute payments to renovate this clapped out Ferris Wheel?

http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/liverpool-news/local-news/2012/08/24/the-wheel-of-liverpool-re-opens-to-the-public-following-investment-from-former-portsmouth-fc-owner-balram-chainrai-100252-31694471/

Quote from that report: The wheel will be run by a new UK operations company Wheel Operations Limited. What an inspiring original name? I bet they spent many days in Think Tank meetings to come up with that name?

Will be impressive if the Supporters Trust can get a deal with Chainrai.

Chainrai is owed £17m by the club and holds Fratton Park as security but the PST has offered him £2.75m to relinquish his hold on Pompey

The article keeps quoting 'return then to their glories'. Their only glories were way back in the 50's as far as most football fans are concerned.
