Cutesy or not, you need Super Mario Galaxy. Resident Evil 4 and Medal of Honour Heroes 2 sound like the sort of boys games you're looking for, and Zelda is just brilliant. Zack & Wiki is supposed to be very good too.

They'll undoubtedly be one in development now, but I doubt it'll arrive anytime soon. Bearing in mind Twilight Princess was probably in development for a few years and started life on the gamecube, it might not even be on the Wii.

Not sure any Nintendo console has had two full Zelda games during it's lifetime..?

Yep, as well as NES, Master System, Mega Drive and even Turbografx (early PC type) games.

And I STILL can't speak highly enough of Mario Galaxy. It is truly wondrous. I really REALLY recommend it, no matter what kind of games you'd normally go for.

Zelda is great just got mine so only got zelda, wii sports and nfs carbon... Want Supersmashbros when its out and thinking about red steel/metroid or somthing? Im only really looking for 'fun wii type' games Ive got my 360 for other ones.

Yep, as well as NES, Master System, Mega Drive and even Turbografx (early PC type) games..

Turbografx is an American console, their version of the PC Engine, which is the greatest machine I ever owned. Not to be confused with anything to with PC's whatsoever.

Yes, it was never released over here, but while the best anyone else had was a master system, I Had this BAD BOY SYSTEM -

My favourite console ever, hugely superior to anything else, way ahead of it's time, and still collectable today.
