excellent, only a 1/10 chance of being beaten the crap out of...

if you add in that there is a 1/4 chance of that person being gay (i.e not able to fight) - I think US should take up those odds next time

If it offends you, stand up for yourself mate.

Dont have to whack them, just turn around and front the situation.

Bullys are cowards 9/10 times.

I did but being a lose cannon sometimes I do not like to get in situations like this, for fear of what I might do and I don't want to lose my Amex seat.

Please Please Please Please can someone explain me to me why racism is quite rightly unacceptable, any other form of abuse is unacceptable but we every week have to put up with the homophobic abuse from these knucklegraggers with IQ's of Plankton with the disgusting homophobic abuse. The management of the Amex seem very hard on every minor indisgretion threatening bans left, right and centre but just stand there and let it carry on in front of them ?. Why is there nothing mentioned in the match programme or on the tannoys that this will result in evection from the ground ?.

The abuse I and other Brighton fans walking outside the Amex from the West Ham scum had to put up with , with comments like " your going home to stick your C*ck up your Boyfriends A*se you f*ggots and other pleasantries is acceptable is it ?. If I had turned around and twatted one of them like they deseved I would be banned for life from the Amex.

Why is nothing ever done about this by BHAFC or any other club for that matter ?.

Come on BHAFC grow a pair and make a stand !.

the songs I mostly just find pathetic. Completely and utterly childish.

The kind of abuse you mentioned outside the ground seems to fall in the real 'hatred' category. People seem to sometimes forget it's not just schoolground jokes and silly songs. Some people really loathe gay people.

Incorrect, sexuality is hard wired in the brain.

do you really want to start on this path and derail the original point? there is no conclusive proof of this either way.

Fundamentally, I agree.

However, the 'gay' thing is merely something on which banterists and gobby opposing fans can hang their hat when it comes to Brighton & Hove Albion. To them, it's the same hook with which Bristol City / Cardiff City as caught on with the sheepshagging, Norwich City with institutionalised incest, and so on. That's not to lessen the 'gay' issue, but do the majority who mouth off REALLY have an objection to homosexuality? Some may well do, others are merely gormless sheep.

The issue is, how do you challenge this sort of behaviour? I do believe a humorous riposte is as good a way as any to get that particular ball rolling.

Funny enough thats what PMB and my gay mates think when its sung by opposing fans in thier hundreds or thousands it becomes banter (even if a few of them are actual homophobes) but the consensus its the same as the sheepshaggers, we pay your benefits etc...

But it sounds like US was hearing the real nasty homophobic stuff which yes offence is taken naturally.

Coincidentally, I suppose, one of the animals that have exhibited homosexual behaviour are seagulls.

I was suprised the WH lads didn't get confronted about it actually, probably because there was a group of them together. But yeah, it wound me up a bit too, was pissing it down and was fed up having lost only for these muppets to be giving it the biggun.

the thing is there will be gay people in the crowd , its wether it offends them not us . we would (hopefully) find it offensive if WHU started singing racist stuff but somehow the gay stuff gets palmed off by everyone . we need some better comebacks though

It's kind of ironic (obviously beyond the comprehension of the average West Pork retard) the fact that their chairman makes his fortune from porn. Not that I'm ofay with what brands he produces but I would bet that gay porn is but one of the genres he profits from.

Still West Ham fans ? Shit, end of.
