George Best and Tommy Cooper.

But doing what, I'm not sure.

Euugh! Sitting in an almighty bog with half a million middle-class white American hippies with no food or sanitation, fairly sure in the knowledge that dysentry and cholera are moving around. No, ta.

Each to their own, I s'pose. :)

Good point

I'll stick with the DVD.

Would love to of seen the Rat Pack at Sands Casino, just the ultimate in cool. Agree with the Clash as well though. Comedy wise would have to be Tommy Cooper or Bill Hicks and sports wise either 1983 or 1966 but can you guess what events those were?

Without question.

But not bigger than Cheeky 'After a tip off from a roadie I waited outside the 'Tommy' aftershow party in NYC in 1989 until 4am and chatted to both Townshend and Entwistle' Monkey

There's a point, Queen with Freddie must have been pretty spectacular

Queen won't ever get that 'edge' that Mercury gave them back. But they have Ex Free front man (and Albion Legend?) Paul Rodgers heading the group and hes pretty damned good apparently.

Although 'Pretty damned good isn't anywhere near Mercury's standard'.
