I set my alarams for 8 thinking we'd hear after 9. Finally looked over to my phone at quater past and saw I had text from my brother saying Falmer Yes. I shouted YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES very loudly and then put on GOSBTS and I Predict A Riot very loudly to wake up the whole house.

Having had a very disturbing dream about Prescott saying we could have a stadium - but at Three Bridges I was sitting up in bed having a restorative bowl of Sainsbury's Crunchy cereal to calm the nerves when I got a text from the club. Satisfyingly, some minutes before the SCR broke the news!

12:00 GMT when I saw that NSC was knackered, I went over to Sporting Life. They had the boilerplate story from Reuters or whomever.

costa del sol - rain in Fuengirola, NSC down, checked out club site and away we went - seagulls shirst on and off to Marbella to celebrate.
