CB - were known as the dolphins way back before we got the nickname "the seagulls" cant find a date when we actually adopted that nickname though. And the team was formed in 1901, 4 years before Crystal Palace even came about :lolol:

Think we were known as the shrimps back when i first went in '66

*edit* oh and Palarse

So what?

Eastbourne has a BN postcode but is sure as hell ain't in Brighton.

You'll always just be a poxy little club from smelly Surrey.

Oh and when we were playing in Kent, the club's official address was still in Brighton.

Compared to an even smaller poxy little seaside club from Sussex?

The roots of CPFC are in South London Jonny, not Surrey. Capice?

Roots? Places like Thornton Heath, Selhurst and Croydon didn't become London until the 1960s. They were in Surrey. That is why Palace are not automatically thought of as a London club.
Likewise, Brentford don't have a London post code.

I thank you.

The London borough of Croydon wasn't formed until 1965.

Only 35 posts on your own clubs bored is a sign of the excitement you have for your club. I have many posts on our boards but this is what good natured banter can do for your post count buddy.

Who in their right mind would know that anyway?

Palace, obviously, regardless of whether they're a stain on the hem of london or a pollutant of Surrey.

After that, I don't really hate anyone. Brentford I kind of like but they keep beating us, so they can f*** off(or at least stop playing us, please).

Modern Chelsea with their glory boy fans aren't the most likeable club, but that's just because of the fans that their success has attracted.

I quite like west ham, except their fans seem to be among the more fickle of the football fraternity, so...

Totenham. Don't hate them but I find it difficult to like them, although being a club that actively invests in and develops young british players they're winning me round.

Arsenal. I quite like them although that might be because I dislike spurs. At least nowadays they play some great football to watch.

Charlton. Don't mind them either. They strike me as being a fine example for a lot of smaller clubs, although as a club they do seem to be a little on the dull side.

Millwall and QPR I find mildly irksome, like a fly that's buzzing around your rooom when you're trying to sleep.

The rest of them I rarely think about unless we're playing them.

At trhe end of the day we are a London club just accept it as it is. Wimbledon used to play at Plough Lane which if my geography serves me well is in the London Borough of Merton (Surrey). So they were never a Lodon Club.
