Lots of sub appearances in that lot - only 77 starts since he left Rotherham in January 2007 - that's about 19/20 per season. And 41 of those were for Bristol Rovers in league 2. If he is fit he scores goals. seems to be a very big if

What makes you think the sub appearances were down to injuries? He didnt have a great time at Watford with form, therefore it is more likely he was a sub as they had other strikers playing and scoring goals...

Oh - and the appearances for Bristol R were in League 1 not 2

If you mean Hoskins thats wrong. He's got a decent record of games played per season before this one.

06/07 36 games for Rotherham and Watford
07/08 19 games for Millwall/Forest (he was on loan there from Watford as a 21 year old)
08/09 39 games for Watford
09/10 19 games for Watford
10/11 47 games for Bristol Rovers

So thats 160 games over 5 seasons or 32 games a season. Certainly a lot more than 20.
Yep. Likewise, Buckley record for the last 3 seasons..

08/09 - 37
09/10 - 21 (January move from Rochdale to Watford)
10/11 - 33

And he's just turned 22, so naturally as a young winger will have been in and out of the side. Contrary to popular belief (on here), Hoskins & Buckley really didn't come with reputations of being perennial crocks.

Vicente is pure class , we should be grateful even if he only manages to play another half a dozen games until the end of the season.

Fek a sensible post re Hoskins/Buckley almost as rare as a Vicente appearance

Great Player to have but lets just get rid!

he clearly does not want or, more than likely, is not motivated enough to get the shirt on..be it Brighton or Valencia!

I would rather get someone in who is hungry and wants game time!!

A gamble that has not paid off, thats football....move on!

Don't think that's the case at all. Hoskins has been very unlucky, Buckley could do nothing about his growth spurts! Doubt Gus will be looking to replace either of these 2. Vicente however is a lost cause I think( it's my opinion, that is all)

The only thing that pisses me off about the whole affair is not the lads injuries but the mis-information that comes from the official sources. They treat us like imbeciles.

Obviously we`ll have to see over the Hoskins announcements but it comes to something when Naylor gives it to you straight but the club fog it.
