USA still have a chance whilst Donovan is in the action.

I would like the USA kit as the away strip with blue numbering.

Just starting to get interesting

Good to see I'm not the only one who thought Jonathan got a touch.

looked like just enough on the replay IMO to warrant it not a penalty. Co-comenatator on ITV bleated on about it being a stonewaller whilst the close up replay showed he got a touch. Abysmal commentary by halfwits, time to switch to 5live!

Definite penalty. Rash challenge as Dempsey could easily have mucked it up.

Unstoppable penalty.

Commentator has clearly been lining up that Stones quote all night. Jagger did look rather pleased when they scored, that said.

Despite what the commentators say, I think the USA have been playing OK throughout. A bit out of cinque in the first twenty minutes was rectified. No finesse and guile but lots of aggression.

Ghana are running out of energy and are not pressing so much. I don't think it is because they are tired. I think they are pacing themselves.

Ghana's keeper is one of the worst in the tournament, made a couple of decent saves so far but always likely to chuck one in.

Cracking game so far - but why is No. 22 for the Yanks wearing gloves – the big girls blouse.

True, he's calmed some of his eccentricities down though, hasn't taken on an outfield player on the edge of his box but there's still time yet.

I thought Ghana were biding time until an opportunity came up.
