You speak as if that's abnormal behaviour for that particular poster?
So preferring that we had stayed loyal to people who the vast majority of whom are kith and kin with close ties to this country, instead off tearing up trade agreements to join our european "partners", many of whom have stabbed us in the back is bigoted ? do f*** off.

Thanks Greens :(
No , but it does involve getting up at 5:30 in the morning, so my sympathy is somewhat limited, nobody is against a compassionate society where those in genuine need of help get it, but the workforce in this country have had the piss taken out of them for far too long, whether its the drug addict or alcoholic, most of whom have were playing the system long before they became drug or alcohol "dependent",or the tosspot in the cushy job running a "drop in centre", a bloke i grew up with is always being sent for interviews by the job centre, half way through he will lean forward and in a conspiratorial tone , ask the interviewer "any fiddles?" admiittedly this one makes me chuckle, but its not funny really is it ? or my 2nd cousin who was on DISABILITY benefit due to dyslexia, didnt stop her boasting on facebook how she had been up all night on the xbox etc and was going to have to sleep all day, she's never worked in her life , has now had a kid , and is still on benefits, people are sick of sponsoring benefits as a lifestyle choice.

You must be quite sure your ongoing life will not suffer any health hiccups? What makes you so optimistic?

I was waiting for someone to comment, what part of kith and kin with close ties to this country are you having problems with ? where the french and aborigines score on that point is to be blunt, minimal, the maoris have done this country proud in many past and present conflicts.

Hi Bushy, i doubt that we agree on much but this is on of them,

I am a lefty from as long ago as i can remember, i considered voting tory when Foot was about because Labour was unelectable, because my upbrining prevented me from doing that, i was driven into the arms of the National front as the only party that gave a shit for the workers.
I was wrong, and have had 30 years of abuse and discrimation to prove it.
I got my socialism from my dad, he was born in 1899 and fought in the trenches in the frirst world war as a 16 year old kid, and was wounded at the Somme , and was prepared to give his life in dads army to protect these golden isles, during the second.
He, like me, loved this country, he allways told me that the tories and the commies are the same thing, they just want a compliant workforce so they can make their own personal fortunes. I dont think much has changed.
Knowing how many of my dads friends died defending these shores, and to ensure the ongoing birth privaliged of a few, I dont think a more equitable distribution of wealth, or at least chance, is a a lot to ask. The very top of our f***ed up pyramid have no fear of being made redundant, yet we look at them as a model of hard work, f*** em, put the top lot on the jobs market and they would be in there with the long termers.
Anyway, i have just spent half an houre feeding the Seagulls in old steyne, shouting, seagulls, every time i threw a chip, and not one of the fuckers repplied.

Perhaps i just believe in remembering your friends.

I commend your regard for loyalty, but also question what relevance it has when thinking with your commerce-cap. I would have thought someone like you, who can sometimes demonstrate a fair degree of intelligence and reason, would choose not to flirt with such an emotional wrench.

I wouldn't say that tedebear's comments are full of hate it's just like so many others they see all issues and black or white wereas people like me who work with social workers and the NHS have a bit more insight into the situation. It's all too easy to be smug when you are not unemployed.

Nope I don't see it that way at all and I have a great deal of very close personal family insight into the situation. Many people on benefits should not have been given them in the first place, so the first cut backs to these will be painful. So I think I'll have to agree to disagree on this one with you mate.

What I will object to is the zealous asumption jumping and holier than thou spouting of DerbyGull. Whilst no one can fault him for beng passionate about this, I certainly think the delivery is poor and agressively insulting. For someone of his age, I'd fear for his views when he's seen a bit more of this world.

I suspect we would agree on far more than you think, and thats nothing to do with your NF past.

Probably right to take some of these people with ten years worth of benefits under their belts slightly out of their comfort zone. Tho in the end they'll still end up being supported by the state - unless The Coalition instigates Death Squads. That's not likely to happen tho eh, at least not in their first term of government. Only right and proper that the professional chancers suffer a bit of ANGST along the way. IMHO, like.

We are "in bed" with people who sold exocets to the argentinians during the falklands war, if thinking with your commerce cap had much to do with the EU the most ridiculous CAP(common agricultural policy) would have been reformed long ago.

My, my, you are now suggesting that those baddies in Europe were DISLOYAL to us 30 years ago to make a few quid. Heaven forbid we ever even think about returning the favour!

You are laughably naive about our "partners", perhaps you'd like to comment on what i said about the CAP instead of making cheap points ?

Not wanting to make cheap points at all. Just was a little surprised at your apparent naive, emotionally-tainted affection for countries that bring a fraction of what France, Germany et al. generate. We would be in 'the shit' if we decided to leave them tomorrow.

They would be as well, they would trade with us anyway, and we wouldnt be subsiding inefficient french farmers, or in fact most of the club med countries if we are being truthful, still nothing to say on the CAP then ?
