Have you ever had to fill in customs & excise forms? Paper work & deals take time when there are no agreements in place.
It's so much easier to get what you need from others where there are no hassles.

I have. In a previous job I was responsible for importing millions of pounds of IT kit from China. The EU nor Britain has a trade agreement with China. It wasn't difficult or time consuming to complete the paperwork. In fact it was often easier to get kit from China than from the States.

yep, here he comes, tolerant and erudite as ever.

It's the type of a reply halfwits like you and the other blue rinse brigade on here deserve.
If you and your type had an ounce of sense in that cabbage you have between your ears you would clearly see that the election is a farce for all the parties.
The Tories are just lying for fun and treating the public like mugs knowing that brainwashed simpletons like you would vote for Jimmy Saville if they dug him up and stuck a blue rosette on him.
Your protection of Johnson and his band of fools is truly pathetic.
The reason the so called polls, who keep getting it wrong, put the Tories ahead is because Corbyn is as unelectable as Johnson and the ignorant thickos are making a general election all about Brexit.

Its not about 'thickos making brexit the main point' more about them realising that until Brexit is sorted we, as a country cannot move on and deal with other major problems , so who are the thickos?

How can there be problems with your beloved Tories in charge ? Doesn't make sense...

If as expected Boris gets a majority on 12th Dec the withdrawl bill will be implemented before Christmas and then the negotiations will start with us in a much stronger position to get what we want.

What is it we want, exactly?

I doubt anything will be implemented before Christmas. Johnson put a hold on the process so no amendments have been discussed yet. It certainly won't get through as it is. Johnson has made this process far longer than it need be.

with a large enough majority amendments will be immaterial and get pushed aside and the bill get voted through as there will be no rebel Tory MPs like last time

You literally posted the words "then negotiations will start" and in the same breath still believe a Tory Majority will "get brexit done".

Just two FYIs for you to sleep on.

1) Every trade expert has gone on record to state the planned transition period is not enough time to complete a trade agreement with the EU.

2) If we don't have a deal by the end of the transition period it will likely result in no deal. Boris' plan all along for his rich billionaire buddies. Or an extension. Does another extension really sound like getting brexit done?

Close trade alignment with one if the biggest economies in the world which we spent 40odd years helping to shape is the only way to "get brexit done" quickly.

So if you want brexit done. Vote Labour.

And then make sure you campaign to leave if you think it's worth leaving for.

Yeah all sounds so easy. Complete Brexit, vote it straight through. It’s a wonder nobody has managed it in almost four years and three prime ministers. They must not realise how easy it could all be. Fools.

Not the right sort of people apparently .....according to some.
Some extremists (see brexit thread) have even suggested the electorate should be intelligence tested before having the right to vote.

Given the events of today, the fact that you amongst others are throwing around the 'extremist' label is really, really ****ing low.

Sadly, leaving Europe will not solve any " major problems " , it will just create more. Boris's " Get Brexit Done " is not a solution in any way at all, it merely moves us on to the next stage of limbo. It is genuinely sad that so many people have been sucked in to believing that we will be better off outside Europe when it is pretty bloody obvious that we won't be better off in any shape or form. How on earth can people believe our serially lying PM says that some great future is ahead of us when it patently isn't ?

Being part of the EU did not cause the slashing of public services and leaving it will not cause the magical restoration of those services. On the contrary , expect us to have to " Tighten our belts " in order to compete in the international market thanks to our weakened position and, additionally, we will still have to conform to EU standards in order to sell to our largest and closest market... yes, the EU !

All parties do it although if you believed people on here it's exclusive to the Tories. For instance, Labour had a terrible day on Tuesday so they needed a story to change the news cycle ... Early press conference Wednesday with a supposed smoking gun showing Tories intent on selling off the NHS which turned out to be a water pistol .. it was ever thus.

If you like historical views on the NHS, have a look at what Tories were saying about it in 1946.

Take your fake outrage somewhere else.
The fact you wish to conflate a perfectly ordinary word when used in the context of the political spectrum (as it was) with events of today is pretty sad.
Have a word with yourself.

Anyone who voted "Leave" in the first place?

Otherwise we wouldn't have all this stuff, at all. And Johnson definitely wouldn't be PM.

Some people must be seriously embarrassed about what they did in the referendum. I actually I know at least 4 who are. And that's just family/mates....[emoji106]

Is it those that realised Brexit would take up huge amounts of Parliamentary time, cost the UK economy and realised we would be less able to deal with major problems, have zero benefits, and therefore voted to remain?

You're the one appropriating the word incorrectly sunflower, not me. Try accepting that you might be part of the problem.
