Going to London on 14th for couple of nights, been looking forward to it for ages to get away, whats the betting that we get a couple of flakes of snow and all trains get cancelled. It can snow all it likes when I am up there.

You might be saved. There's just been a massive (bloody typical) back-track in the UKMO & GFS models, both of which show the cold spell fizzling out before it gets started. Apparently one of the lesser models, GEM also has the same outlook, so we may be about to experience another near miss.
