Funny atmosphere in the north today, indeed the whole stadium. I think we realised the new stadium novelty has worn off.
Agreed. And plus was it just me or have the stewards started becoming jobsworths again. Couple buzzing round the north stand telling people to sit down randomly. Seemed a bit weird...

Yeah stewards we're telling people to sit down, but to be fair they are only doing what they are told by the powers that be, I'm just glad I'm in the back four rows !

3 or 4 stewards crouched down talking to a group of people in row A of the North for quite a long time today. Was that standing related?

I think so. As I say the past few games no mention of it but today seemed to be a bit more interested in getting people to sit down, dunno whether there has been any complaints?

Not sure it's to do with the novelty waring off, but their is definately an edgy feeling amongst fans. Maybe it's slight dissappointment after our trail-blazing start

Agree.
Lets just chill and enjoy the fact that we have a fantastic stadium and a great team. the guy's are doing us proud so lets just enjoy and get behind them. FFS we have no pressure, the team do and just need us to get behind them so lets do it.

Just avoid making eye contact then they give up :)

This is exactly what we did and it worked a treat! Definetly an effort by the stewards today to have people sit down. I finally gave in when I suspected they were noting seat numbers :(
I also noticed a group at the back left of the north making an effort to get things going, good work!

they did seem to single him out considering we were stood up in front of him in row p,we were told by one of the stewards that we are being monitored and notes being made.

The atmosphere is dying in the Amex letters need to be sent to Tony Bloom I sit in the East so please dont send these supporters my way.

The trouble is Martin Perry and his merry men want fans who come sit down clap now and again and go home, they are not interested in the passionate fans who get behind the team yeah get a bit over excited sometimes so what they are not hurting anybody that is what makes the atmosphere. these fans who complain about singing and standing up and a bit of swearing do one go to the theatre or watch football at home we have had enough.

As for police AND stewards treating home fans like crap especially for palace game they are there for our safety supposedly although they let about 200 palace fans roam up to the amex abusing, throwning beer cans spitting at young famillies with kids and police no where to be seen you should all be ashamed of yourselves would never happen up there we would be escorted everywhere but no they were allowed to do what they like and allowed to take the piss.

Even in 1901 Palace fans jumping up when they scored brighton fan asked them to show some respect bit of arguing and brighton fan gets banned.

Tony you need to sort out the people in charge of dishing out pathetic bans you will end up losing your proper fans who were there chasing bellotti out of the west stand marching through the streets of brighton protesting travelling to hereford marching to the FA at Hyde park organising the Best fans united day.

You Tony when the bad times come back you will need these supporters these supporters will walk over broken glass for this club when the going gets tough lets see how many of these supporters who are complaining to stewards and the Argus will still be there when the team is struggling when its cold when you need them to go that extra mile to save our club you will end up with 6000 supporters in your fantastic new stadium then your be begging these fans to come back.

We saved this club once it took these fans a long time to get where we are today and this is how the club now treat us pushing the old fans out so you can have your new fans in if this is the case i dont think i can be a part of it.

Tony you are a Brighton Fan you are a Top Bloke dont let Perry and his merry men f*** it up let us get behind our Team stand up if we want in the North wave our Hands and Be passionate

WE ARE THE FANS WHO ARE BRIGHTON TILL WE DIE!!!!!

A very concerned brighton supporter :clap2::clap::rave::rant:
