it is woeful, the commentary that is, no effort at all to actually describe the play in any meaningful way; long periods when you don't even have a clue if the ball is in play or not, or if a spaceship has landed in the centre circle and vaporised all the players. It really is awful radio commentary. Bring back Hawsey!!

To be fair, you always need a bit of imagination with the radio. From the tone of the voice and disinterest we can assume the game is boring. Nothing happening to talk about.

Wednesday go close. I'd sooner have less of that sort of excitement.
