Personally I'm finding the whole racism thing a little tiresome.

While I don't like Jade at all I honestly don't think she's a racist - after all, she hired a black PA and has some black ancestry herself. Dannielle, I think, has been racist, but borne more out of inadvertent ignorance than calculated cruelty.

However, the more significant thing fo me is the ever-growing manifestation of Chav Britain. Jade, Jack, Dannielle and Jo are ignorant, common, drunken, lazy, whingeing scum, and given the fact Dannielle had the title Miss England it does make you wonder about the way things are going.

Only Cleo is left to fly the flag for Blighty while the 2 Yanks, the Indian and the Welshman show how to do "civilised".

P.S: Danielle has GREAT tits.

So Shirpa Popodum and Shirpa "Indian gog legook" or whatever Jade said wasn't racist.

Just because she has a black PA doesn't mean she isn't racist againgt another race, inn this case specifically Indians if not all Asians. Her mum certainly was explicitely racist.

Don't think that is proof at all.

There's an old school friend of my girlfriend who she occasionally keeps in touch with. I'm told that while she was at school many years ago, this friend would make life hard for the few Asian girls in the class, teasing them, mispronouncing their names to sound like English swear words, typical schoolground bullying stuff.

While in school, this friend got knocked up - by a boyfriend who was mainly West Indian but had some (quarter I think) Asian ancestry.

She raised the kid as a single mum, the boy has grown up a nice lad, done well at school, from an unpromising start she did OK as a single mum.

Despite the fact that her own son is about one-eighth Asian, she said in passing to my girlfriend a couple of years ago. "I've never been a racist. But I can't stand Pakis, they're different, they smell."

There is a peculiar strain of British racism that can almost accept blacks and West Indians - they are less "exotic", they come from a culture that speaks English and their West Indian countries of origin are modelled in a small way on Britain - but Asian culture is seen as far too unlike ours for integration to be possible, they have different languages, completely different clothes, completely different food, blah, blah. These kind of racists will never accept that Asians can be "like us".

Spot on. The racist angle is the unfortunate by-product of a bunch of bitchy women using any means to try to get the upper hand over one another.

The fact though that many people in this country now wallow, if not luxuriate in their own chavvy, thick, common, drunk, inarticulate selves sends out an awful message about the the current state of Britain to the rest of the world.

PS - and IMHO Shilpa has MUCH BETTER tits than Danille :p

Whilst Jade has matured and become more self-confident she is still the same pig-ignorant, ill-educated philistine that we saw on BB3.

The juxtapositioning of her outbursts against Dannielle's more jingoistic whining has, by cruel dint of fate, made Jade's output seem more sinister than it actually it.

Let's be honest here, Shilpa's a great looking bird but that shouldn't mask the fact she's a bit of a whinger herself. And the "Racist one day, not racist the next" comments haven't helped.

Was about to post something similiar.

There's something about racism towards blacks and West Indians that is deemed "old fashioned" even by that great institution the BNP.

There was a brilliant documentary a few years back where an Asian reporter set a shop up in Oldham (just after the riots) and "big brother style" they put hidden cameras and microphones inside and outside the shop.

They was a telling piece of dialogue picked up from two young boys outside who had just attacked the shop. It went something along the lines of "the blacks are ok, I just hate the Asians.."

Tells us something about what "racism" actually is I think.

It isn't the description of something that is directed towards anyone that isn't "English" but a description of something that is directed at a particular race at a particular time.

To say that Jade (or whoever) can't be racist because she has a black PA, misunderstands (what I think) racism actually is.

I didn't say Jade CAN'T be a racist, just that based on what I've seen and the indication of her PA appointment I don't think she IS a racist.

Proof of racism is a very subjective thing. Ron Atkinson made a terrible racist remark which lost him his job, but he also dared to make a groundbreaking team selection by picking Laurie Cunningham, Brendan Batson and Cyrille Regis for West Brom in an era when Bernard Manning, Jim Davidson and Alf Garnett were popular and the terrace boot boys held court.

Great description of Jade's perfume:

Shh...Jade Goody
Launched in 20th June. Launched in June 2006 following successful Living TV show Just Jade. First fragrance from this ex Big Brother celebrity. Sweet and Enduring - just like Jade herself!

Presumably, however, they decided to call it "Sshh!" as the bottle was too small to print "Sshhhut the fffffuck uppp" on

I don't watch Big Brother but I agree with what you've put here. Being racist doesn't mean just black and white but being hateful to another country's population simply because they come from that country.
How many times have I read comments about the French and Americans on here? They are races therefore the comments made are racist.

im just dissapointed that the producers had to speak to Jade and Danielle. Questioning their actions. Obviously this is going to stop them acting the way they were. So i feel we havent seen the full bullying/racsim that could have happened. I wondered why they were saying last night im not racist etc. Should have left it. Given them more rope to hang themselves with :lolol:

Exactly. Racism towards Asians in this country seems to be a lot more prominent than racism towards people of Afro-Caribbean origin.

The Nazi/BNP party has basically admitted as much - it's far easier for them to agitate the proley no-hoper morons against Asians these days then against black people, so they've concentratred their attention of hatred there.

I'm "waiting" (very much for want of a better term) for their opportunism to swing towards fomenting hatred against the recent Polish immigrants to the UK. Tricky target for the BNP/Nazis, of course: white, perceived as well-trained and hard-working, European and, perhaps crucially, without some Empire-derived stereotype (such as "they're all lazy"). But sadly - maybe triggered by an economic downturn in the future? - they'll get there at some point.

The anti-immigration lobby won't know which way to turn.... "Bloody Polish immigrants coming in to OUR country and stealing our Muslim's jobs!" Its a minefield..

Theres alot of people posting on this thread who start thier posts with..."I dont watch Big Brother but......".
They then proceed to tell everyone exactly whats been said by who and when.A few FIBBERS me thinks.Which makes me wonder....WHY wont people admit to watching it?

More worrying for me, is that these people may well have never watched it, but are happy to form their opinion based soley on what the media have told them to think.
