Apologies if fixtures, but it has only just been brought to my attention something which throws this in a slightly different light.
Swindon (or more specifically, Danny Wilson) were entitled to do exactly the same thing with three players called up for their game at Carlisle on Sep 4 - but have decided to get on with it and play the fixture. The reason? They weren't that inconvenienced with three out, didn't want a backlog, and most of all didn't want to make their fans make that journey on some Tuesday night. Plymouth splitters.
