The reason why it's hard to find a striker is because we seem to have a 10k wage capLet's be honest if this is the case we'll not get a proven championship striker.The best option is to pick up some foreigner who has issues similar to vicente and bridge or a player who needs a fresh start like bruno.

If anyone on here seriously believes Vicente/Kuszczak/Bruno and even the % of what we are paying Man City is £10k or less, they are living in dreamland.

It was reported in the press that the loan deal to bring Bridge to The Amex was heavily subsidised by Man City to the tune of £80k per week and we're only paying £10k a week towards his wages. Blackpool had a £10k per week wages cap when they won promotion and stuck with it during their season in the Premier League.

I think Vicente is almost certainly on a performance based pay deal so it's hard to put a figure on it.
If he doesn't play I don't reckon it costs us too much, but if he plays and scores a lot of goals it would cost us a nice few quid.
Take a look back at the home game against Portsmouth. When he scores the first goal Gus turns round to look up at the directors box, rubs his thumb and fingers together in a 'money' type way and shrugs then laughs.

Yeah this is even more annoying than people posting new threads as means have to look through from page say 9 and then keep clicking 3 at a time until get to page last read stories at, you need to get a new page for rumours and then people can start up new threads on rumours on that page, as people will continue and have every right to start up a rumour if they feel they want to or feel they know something or heard something, thats part of fun of football, if dont wanna read it dont open it to start with, simple.
