1802 Victoria to Bognor/Portsmouth hopefully running as booked

Hoped to run all Gatwick Expresses Victoria to Brighton from the 1800

I've heard talk of a FCC leaving London Bridge for Brighton around 7ish. Think I stand more chance there than going to Victoria.

Just got home, took an executive decision and caught the 16:00 off Waterloo and changed at Havant.

What a joke. I was told there would be no trains to Brighton until tomorrow so went on a massive detour, including a £100 taxi. And now I'm told the trains were fine an hour after I asked.

I might write and complain about that. Shocking service

Amazingly through good platform positioning I both got onto the FCC train and got a seat. Just coming into east Croydon. Fingers crossed for the rest of the journey
