We'd better get some players in soon. A lot of other League One clubs are starting to make some useful signings.

Ellison and Stockdale join Rovers

Tranmere have won the race to sign Hull winger Kevin Ellison and have also snapped up defender Robbie Stockdale.
Liverpool-born Ellison becomes Ronnie Moore's first signing as Tranmere boss after moving for an undisclosed fee.

The 27-year-old, who was also being chased by Scunthorpe, Bristol City and Chester, has agreed a two-year deal.

Stockdale, 26, who previously played under Moore at Rotherham, has also agreed a two-year contract following his release from Hull last season.

It looks like being a much tougher league than the last time we were in it.

Is he eligible to play either for a small Mediterranean island state or for the Netherlands?

I want to know if he's a Malteser or an Orange Revell.

Do you seriosuly think we would be that lucky?

Revell has played league football before and didn't set the world on fire, Eastwood didn't until he played for Southend, and the two are light years apart in terms of playing ability

Is he black? What with Carole going with are losing our 'ethnic' contingent very quickly. Anyone would think McGhee doesn't like blacks.

How can you say that he wants to 'sign' GNW. Apparantly.

Its not like he fell out with Knight, MacCammon, Jarrett, CKR...oh

McGhee clearly has something against slit-eyes. I've never once seen him linked with a chinaman.

He was actually playing at the same level where Stafford Browne was banging them in this season.

Too true Easy.

I also, think he only signed Paul Reid to thank him on behalf of the Aussies for obliterating the Aborigines.

That would not surprise me in the slightest

And yes Magoo hasnt been interested in any chinkys or towelheads :nono: :nono: :nono:

As did that fella who scored all those goals for Reading last season. Doyle? Something like that.
