Not sure if it's related but it seems very slow this morning

The search index is being rebuilt which is pretty intensive so I'm not paying any attention to speed currently. When that finishes, if it still seems slow I'll take a look.

FRUIT OF THE BLOOM
And i dont like the thread starter being shown under the thread title.
It makes thread titles difficult to pick up or stand out.

Whats the poing of the thread starter ?
Surely you can see that from the first post ?

We always had it before didn't we? - it was just in a column over to the right, not underneath the thread name, like now....

currently we can view the start of the content in a thread on the main forum, if you moved your cursor and rolled over the text. can this be disabled?

otherwise loads of things from old school will be eradicated, including the US trick games every friday afternoon and 'fixtures' will become extinct.

protect the tradition!

Stop refering to the previous version of NSC as old school, it's hardly old school when NSC has been around for 10+years and you are talking about a version that isn't even a week out of date.

Plus refering to anything as old school/skool is a bit gay.

Its funny - I've just noticed that feature and I quite like it, I can get the drift of a thread before I open it and decide if I don't want to go there...

I'm going purely on looks here but it looks much better now that it looks more like the old one. The smiley box is still messed up though.

What's wrong with the smiley box?

(I'll get round to adding smiley's to Quick Reply later today)

Has anyone noticed and/or used the multi-quote thing yet?

Please leave the posters name and preview... it will save a lot of wasted time reading through the crap that some people misguidedly think someone else might find interesting / funny / shocking etc...
