Worthing
You didn’t watch the same game as me then, we were absolute rubbish and were outplayed from the start. A cracking goal from Locadia and a goalkeeping cock up late in the game brought us back into it, and we saw it out in the lottery of penalties

We have not been that rubbish for 80 mins in any game this season other than the Weds game. Lack of ambition again

Not disagreeing we were rubbish, but it wasn’t about lack of ambition, it was more about being outplayed.

Still enjoyed the Wembley trip, did okay against City, then the best team in the country, on another day Murray equalises....

Certainly, wouldn’t have wanted to get slaughtered like Watford did.

Here
Under the circumstances I think this could prove to be a shrewd move so long as he has learnt from his last spell here.

Didn't realize that he was en route to the US as their season doesn't start for a couple of weeks so assumed he would be heading for Gatwick

So surely he would be on his way to actual sign for them for a start and then actually train with them ?

He wouldn’t wait around here till the season starts would he ?

Given our usual failure to sign the required striker I would tell the Septics to do one and keep Big Jurg here.

Well, Mlakar is gone now!

Fingers crossed that the big man is on the bench tomorrow.

MLS transfer deadline

Major League Soccer's first window of the season official opens on Wednesday, Feb. 12, though many transfer deals are already being announced ahead of the start of the 2020 MLS season on Feb. 29.

The first window of the season will close on Tuesday, May 5.

We did but it was a grim watch. Locadia deserved to get game time in the semi final after his goal at Millwall where we had been totally out played because our team lacked any ambition before we were two goals down. Anti football personified.

Kayal was treated the same. Played every cup game and was excellent, then dropped for the semi-final.

Locadia also had a last minute goal wrongly disallowed for offside. If my memory serves me correctly.

Well sod Locadia’s DJ tour in the US, we’re a striker light son, you’re under contract so get ready for the Hammers tomorrow.

Then salvaging a point from a spectacular overhead kick, would pretty much bring NSC to its knees.

As their window runs from 12th Feb to 5th May why does he need to be flying there today, why not after Watford game by which time Macallister will be available to take his place, although he doesnt need a squad place due to his age.

Wonder if it's possible to do a pre contract with the MLS side, keep Locadia here as we're short on numbers and then let him go just before that window closes on 5 May. That would keep him here for nearly all remaining games.

Not a fan of big Jurg but needs must, it's the last Turkey in the shop.
