Felix Bestains could be a possibility - if Forest would let him come to us. He's had a few teams looking at him, we could have been one. Plays on the wing, Notts County had him but they think they're losing him. Seems like a decent player from what I've heard.

Bastians was left out of the side for Saturday's 1-1 draw with Grimsby.

And McParland confirmed the winger may have played his last game for Notts. "Felix was thinking about staying and it was quite positive," he said.

"But we spoke again and he wants to hold off as there are a couple of clubs who are looking to take him on loan."

It is....

In addition, players who are unattached free agents, and were not registered with a club when the transfer window closed on 31 January, are able to join new clubs.

It appears that i was wrong. Blooming Football Manager!

This thread needs an airing because today's the day that we were supposed to be getting Currie... will it happen? Will we get anyone in for Saturday?

THe club have apparently decided that they need to think about the timing of such a loan. The max is 93 days, so anyone joining right now, as opposed to a couple of weeks time, would not be able to play in the play-offs [fingerscrossedtouchwood]

I think the club should worry more about actually getting to the play offs first.

Wilkins backs midfield pair

Albion could still resurrect their late move during the January transfer window to bring Darren Currie back to Withdean from Luton but Wilkins has to weigh up not only if but when to bring loan players in.

They can only stay for a maximum of 93 days and, if signed too soon, would not be available for the play-offs.

El-Abd will be walking a disciplinary tightrope at Cheltenham and in three of the five home matches in succession which follow the trip to Whaddon Road.

He is on four bookings and one more before the end of February will mean an automatic one-match ban.

Andrew Whing and Dean Cox have each accumulated eight cautions, two away from automatic two-match suspensions unless they survive beyond the April 12 cut-off.

without a loan its highly unlikely we would get near the play offs , with one they couldnt play if we did.

Simple, get one NOW and take a risk on one later

besides , id rather us take a risk now , possibly get to play offs and see what happens then not get one and not get near them
