The right to tell HB&B once and for all that he does not live in the centre of Brighton, depsite his f***ing silly claim.
I have never claimed to have lived in-the centre of Brighton, however as I do not live in a suberb ie Patcham Westdene Woodingdean etc I do live in central Brighton............................as anyone with reasonable intellect will see.

Now what about this wager??

go on then. I'll bite. What figures?

*stands ready for class war*

:) (well spotted)

it is now a little more clear why you so quickly jump to the defence of capitalism (and by you here, i don't mean you personally).

YOU benefit from it.

i always find this an interesting point in this, oldest of debates. i am fortunate enough to not have to survive on minimum wage, i rarely need any kind of healthcare, i was educated privately and was born able-bodied and have an intelligence that does me well.

in short, i'm doing ok. none of the policies i advocate would benefit me in any way. and this is true of most of the so-called 'champagne socialists'. is is interesting that you don't often encounter cleaners demanding more power and flexibility for their employers, or cancer patients all hammering for the abolition of state-run hospitals. true, you do find the working class vote tory, but this is often done on issues like immigration, national sovereignty, gay rights, etc.

look, i'm no saint. but these parallels can't be ignored.

YOU DO NOT LIVE IN CENTRAL BRIGHTON.

American Express is in central Brighton. The Royal Pavilion is in central Brighton. The Library is in central Brighton. My shop is in central Brighton. The Albion Club Offices are in central Brighton. The Drove is not in central Brighton, you lost and confused imbecile. It's in the arse end of nowhere perched on a shelf looking east. You're even north-west of Preston Park.

The wager. Right, so you want to take on my 1,980 yards compared to your 2,700? Are you proposing a wagered mince through the city suburbs or something? Is that what you want, you hopelessly disoriented buffoon?

working class Tory. That'll be me then. I'm from dirt poor white trash.

I think if you read my posts though you'll see that I advocate a capitalism with a social responsibility.

HB&B - even your location under your avatar is wrong.

You weren't the only NSCer quoted in the 1st September match programme. I was too. In fact, there was an entire page dedicated to me and my shop.

Nya-hah!
Mate, you are better bait than any I would find when the tide is out on Lancing Beach

i know, buzz. that was a bit of an opportunist post on my part. as i recall, you a fan of one-nation toryism, which is more difficult to argue against.

i've been reading up a bit on the origins of american republicanism, which surprised me as being a wonderful set of values. it is such a shame that modern-day republicans have strayed so far from these ideals.
