Leon Knight - what is he worth?

Next to f***-all, and I assume that's part of the plan with his agent feeding all these stories to the Sun. He is determined to rip this club off by lowering his value as much as possible before he goes.

I know its not an equal comparison but look at our recent "sales"
Virgo £1.5m
Harding £800k (I think this was the max if he plays for Leeds enough)
Currie £250k
Cullip £250k

These were all "key" players who were regular 1st teamers. I know LK hasn't been of late, but I think he would have been if things hadn't gone the way they have - lets not open that discussion up again its been done to death.

I reckon he must be worth at least 2 packets of Quavers and a CurlyWurly.

Seriously, probably about £200k, as he'll go to a League one side.

Edit: Oops, never noticed Caveman's post at the beginning

Thats pushing it a bit, maybe we could get the love hearts when he has made 20 app for his new club and 2 packets when he plays for England.

I reckon a tribunal would set a fee of about £200k - some way off what he should be worth, but there you go.

What's your justification? He's hardly set this division alight the 3 seasons he's played at this level so no-one would be willing to pay more than £150,000 for him.

If Currie and Cullip both went for £250k each he should be worth at least 1/2 again about £375k but with the fact he is out of contract at the end of season and his attituide towards the club, whether instigated by his agent or not, I think that we will be lucky if we get £50k. The wage he receives will have to be paid to whoever takes his place so there will be no saving there.

Not alot, be lucky to get 50k for a striker who has 11 goals in about 75 game to his name, that combined with his huge attitude problem keep what could of been a reasonable figure low.
