Would that be the same San Marino as this one:

Despite the lack of success at international level, San Marino holds the record for the fastest ever goal in World Cup history. In a World Cup qualifier against England in 1993, Davide Gualtieri scored after just 8 seconds.

They will be looking for FDM's Irish great-great-Grandmother now.

Note to Hendo's bird - now your other half lives in a Northern Shithole and is no longer an international, the offer is still open....your face or mine?

But what was the final score, or will that make your post a bit pointless.

:D :D

To be honest, that goal was more of epitaph for Taylor's reign, as it was of little consequence. I think Ian Wright ran riot and we won 7-1.

The very same. Also noteworthy, it took Scotland longer to score against Latvia when they failed to turn up for the tie. :lolol:

So, Ireland just about scraped past the same San Marino that Germany put 13 past without reply in a qualifier last year?

Lucky for Ireland there's more than one qualifying spot from their group, and good luck to them in getting it.
