No, as someone who was unemployed at the time due to 3 redundancies, perhaps I had the time to see what was happening in Brixton, perhaps I saw and read the news about mining communities being destroyed, perhaps I went to Brixton and saw and felt the anger and destruction.

I know that I'm far better off now than I ever was under Thatcher, I've got a decent job and a nice house, I'm by no means rich, but then money isn't my main purpose for living. I just believe in a fair and decent society, something Thatcher wouldn't understand.
