I can see RS playing them in rotation in pre-season with GS being no1 when season starts proper.

Their fans suggest he is a good shot stopper but does not command his penalty area and not good on crosses.

Godden will have his work cut out on two counts then!!

Almost certainly need a new number 2 keeper for when Kuipers throws a tantarm when hes starts the season on the bench. Makes the descision to allow Sullivan to go even stranger, but then I suppose Russell Slade has only seen the 'happy I'm number one side" of Kuipers.

This is a seriously good signing, and people, lets not cruisify him because he takes over from Kuipers. It had to happen sooner or later, and the time is nigh, so lets get behind him, even if he does throw a couple in early doors!

As it stands, El-Abd has no chance of getting a look in at centre back - Tunnicliffe, Virgo, Elphick, Lynch.

At holding mid, we will have Dicker and Livermore ahead of him.

So he won't get many games.
