Bevendean,I remember and voted for the Tories last time and I shall be voting for them again this time, as I am sure will many well intentioned previous Tory voters, who voted for Blair ,Brown and new Labour in 1997.The Tories were clapped out in 1997,just as Labour are now.
Personally,I could never bring myself to vote Labour as long as I have a hole in my arse;you probably feel the same way about the Conservatives;but the fact remains that all Labour administrations end in tears and the incoming party has to sort out the mess.Yes, it will hurt, but there is no option or the country will head for disaster.Would you really like Gordon Brown,Ed Balls,Harriet Harman et al to be in charge for another 5 years?

Are you one of those aspirational working class types who think that voting Conservative is something to aim for in life?

Are you one of those frustrated care worker types who think that voting Labour is part of your job description?

Not at all.

....and why are care workers 'frustrated'?

BTW I'm in Camden next week. Following on from our previous discussions where is good to go these days. I'll be popping in to the Elephant for old times sake, and to survey the change. I hear The Dev has gone as well.

The Ele's head has changed yes,but as i said is still good. The Devonshire is still a goth/metal head pub but called the Hobgoblin or something. If ya fancy a jar let me know, all being ok on the baby front that is.

I always knew NSC was infested with Lefties but this poll result is ridiculous. How many students, illegal immigrants, multiple mothers and layabouts can there be in 1 forum ?.

LOL

you little internet liar you!

Unlike others I have no desire to divulge what I do for a living, what I earn or do not earn, or what and where I got my education. it is of no relevance or interest to anyone on here. But I can assure you I was not fibbing when I said 'no, no, no'.

In fact my multi-lingual Asian plumber is welcome to everything he earns. My sparks is more fun though, he comes round for about half a day, smokes and talks about techno and illegal parties...and drinks the weakest tea known to man-kind.....and at some point he engages in some work.

Sure, I'll check my plans and get back to you. Failing this, look for the public schooled 4' 10" guy in bold media specs in the Elephants Head on Friday.
