When I used to live in Lyndhurst Road, I always said I lived just up the road from Hove Police Station – everybody seems to know where that is

I like Rottingdean but it is categorically not part of Brighton.

Anyway as for me I say Brighton to outsiders and Kemptown, near the marina and hospital to people who know the place.

It is, BN2, Under the control and taxes go to Brighton & Hove City Council, Within the City boundries which go further far into Saltdean, Our amenities and rubbish recycling, public loos etc all provided by B&HCC.

It is not part of the CC but it is connected to the city by major roads and residential areas (Roedean,Ovendean, Woodingdean).
