Fishing Experience

Wouldnt buy any gear if i were you,just go down to the marina n go on one of the 45 min mackerel bash boats,if you like it then blow your dosh if you dont alls you have wasted are 30 fish and £15.

Ive taken mates out on the boat that after catching 1 fish find the whole experience either very dull or cant wait to do it again. Its a bit like visiting yorkshire in many respects.

I may be borrowing some gear off a friends dad one day this week. Am I likely to catch some Mackeral in Shoreham this week? Have they "arrived" yet

They are coming and going depending on the colour of the water,theres a few on feathers on the west arm at shoreham,i had 3 on the float earlier in a hour on the rocks near carrots cafe. Better on the float with light rod n line if your pal has that type of gear. The winds are dropping a bit so the water should clear out and there should be plenty by weds
