Falmer - Headache for the Old Bill?

Evening Standard tonight, police issued photos of men wanted in connection with football violence. Chelsea v Cardiff

Hunt for thugs from Chelsea cup clash: Police release pictures of six suspects after serious violence | News

Brighton v Aberdeen beginning of season Football thugs go on rampage in Brighton From The Argus)

Millwall v Middlesbrough last month Thugs at Millwall facing a lifetime match ban - Local News - News - Gazette Live

Found these three very easily. It happens.

All sporadic incidents and no match for the regular muggings and assaults that are sadly part of day to day life. Tell you what, if you think Falmer is so dangerous don't bother to go there. You can stay at home and watch replays of WWF. As has already been pointed out given the security and Police intelligence in place I very much doubt that there will be any problems, sorry to blunt your paranoia.

I'm not saying we will 100% see trouble at Falmer but I'm 99% sure we will see a bit, you denying and licking a coppers bum needed to be addressed and thankfully it only took 10 seconds to do this

Look above, you're just a moron who clearly relishes the supposed prospect of violence. When I see it splashed across the fronty page on the Sun I'll believe it. Cherry picking isolated iccidents proves nothing, still as I told Joey, if you're scared stay away, you sad little tales won't stop me going to Falmer. I might add that I have seen no problems apart from Cardiff on any away trips over the last twenty years and that includes Millwall.

I never said that they were as common as muggings and I don't think I'm being paranoid about them. A very odd straw man argument to now throw at me.

I have merely responded to a post by you where you have challenged people to come up with incidents of football hooliganism this season. As it happens, 3 or 4 people have come up with around 10 separate examples for you very quickly.

I don't think that shows I'm paranoid.vI certainly don't feel it nor do I claim that hooliganism will occur all the time at Brighton. No-one on here is glorifying it either. All we are trying to do is show you that it is still going on, which you seemed to deny. Really, there's no need to be so passive aggressive when debating these subjects with me. I'm not looking for a fight (pun intended).

Can't be bothered to talk to you , you are delusional

You've made yourself look a proper tool in this thread

Over and out !

Blimey. It's 6,30 in the morning and already you're calling people names and picking fights.

I see, so agreeing with people who actually know what they're talking about (because it's her job) makes me an arse licker whilst a paranoid nonentity like you knows better ? Glad you won't talk to me as I don't suffer fools gladly. Mind you I suppose with you ability to exaggerate you really think you have a twelve inch penis. Sorry to tell you that although you're a big dick that's not the reason.

Thought you weren't speaking to me, oh dear. what a moron. If you can read (which is now in a bit of doubt) as I said, look above and see my reply to Joey, however, to make is simpler for you I said that sporadic incidents are no match for the sad but day to day muggings and assaults that are part of life. I think people like you just want to glorify football violence, how very seventies. Now you can show us all again that you're an idiot by replying, of course to do so will show you're hardly a 'man' of your word.

Once again, no-one claimed they were a match for muggings. As far as I can see on this thread, no-one's glorifying football violence and I think it's quite clear Dougal can read.

All Dougal and I are saying is that it still occurs quite frequently up and down the country. That's not to say it will happen frequently here in Brighton but to deny it exists or that there will never be trouble in Brighton is, in my opinion, an absurd attitude to take considering the evidence to the contrary.

You asked thinking their were no links , we showed otherwise. Now you are comparing to muggings. Re-read what you actually said in this thread. You've been proved wrong.

You can try saying I'm gloryfying all you like but I was responding to your head in the sand comments and arse licking of a copper.

Your points were addressed , no point in getting into anything else as you are clearly proved wrong

Oh well , have a good day and I hope you get rid of your anger somehow.

The thread says that there will be problems in Brighton, all I said was that according to Edna, it's very unlikely. Brighton learnt how to deal with hoolianism in the sixties with the Mods and Rockers and they have refined their skills ever since. Given that crowd segragation was considered during the design of the Amex as well as the security that's there it'll be damn near impossible. Factor in that any large away following would be firstly held back until the home fans have dispersed and then escorted out of Brighton onto trains that don't strop locally where's the problem ? You may get the odd car load who will start something but that can happen anytime anywhere. As far as the implied mass violence is concerned clearly the powers that be agree with me.

I certainly don't see many home fans hanging around the handful of pubs in Falmer post match as that didn't happen at the Goldstone especially as Falmer is way out of the City centre.

Thought you'd stopped .....Bizarre isn't it ?

He was responding to me, not you. But I think this is time for me to bow out of this thread. It's proving a fruitless task trying to debate the subject with you. You keep moving the goalposts and I don't get why you resort to personal abuse so often.

You are very Naive

Without even thinking to hard games in the Championship this season where major disorder has taken place

QPR V Millwall
Bristol City v Millwall
Barnsley v Hull

There are reports all the time of incidents. Are you in a bubble or is it just a fluffy world from your viewpoint

Er...so no Brighton then?

I've got a 12" Dick...but I don't use it as a rule!!

All this trouble on this thread about trouble at Falmer...relax guys,we're not even there yet,I'm sure the police have plans for any trouble.
The only trouble I've seen in the 10 years was coin throwing at the Palarse game 0-1 McShane. (I nearly got my ticket money back)
and the away game at Cardiff when that guy and his kid got set upon in the carpark.
