Maybe there will be a very unlikely rear-guard action but suspect we are doomed in this match.
I know we are without Wright, Joyce, Machan, Jordan and Prior plus Monty's untimely exit which are very significant absentees and with them ought to have given Durham a better run for their money but I'm hoping this match will confirm we need a bit of a rethink ahead of next season. We have the core of a decent squad but need to shore up the batting and find a top spinner. Plus the motivation / determination does not seem to have been there for the second half of this season so the coaching department need to look at themselves too.

We lost it with our first batting performance. Durham then piled on the runs so we need an impossible 400 + to win. Stupid tw*ts, they didn't even need to bat again and they would have won!
